Originally known as the Bangkok International Typography Symposium, it is an annual gathering of design professionals and type aficionados to discuss and exchange ideas in modern typography. Recognized as the first and only typographic and type design conference in Southeast Asia. This year, BITS has evolved into the Brand Identity and Typography Symposium, reflecting the growing type business and practice in the design industry. BITS offers diverse topics, guest speakers, and lively discussion groups.

BITS is back for the 10th, which will take place between November 2 and 4, 2023, and will be held once again in Bangkok. Local Thai-type aficionados and visitors from all the neighboring countries in Southeast Asia and Far Eastern Asia will once again reunite. BITS is back for the 10th time in 2023. The 4-day event will take place on November 1 for the workshops and November 2 for the discussion group at the School of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University. While the main conference will be held at the W Hotel Bangkok on November 3 and 4.

This year's conference is a collaboration between Cadson Demak and the brand new Southeast Asian typographic study and research program of CommMA at Chulalongkorn University.
