Potch is a type designer based in Bangkok, whose work has marked a turning point for typeface projects by Huai, recognized by renowned type design competitions. While pursuing an MFA in Graphic Design at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2016, Potch developed a groundbreaking, process-based typeface research project, ‘State,’ as part of his dissertation, which deepened his passion for letterforms. This enthusiasm led to his completion of the Type@Cooper Extended Program in 2018. Since then, Potch’s typefaces have received honors from the Type Directors Club, the Art Directors Club, Communication Arts, the Morisawa Type Design Competition, and others. Currently, he works as a type designer for Positype.

Potch is a type designer based in Bangkok. He marked a turning point for typeface projects by Huai which have been recognized by well-known type design competitions.  While attending the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) for MFA Graphic Design in 2016, Potch created a remarkable process-based typeface design research ‘State’ for the dissertation and became even more passionate about the letterform after graduation.
