Yuka Shinada is based in Tokyo. She joined Morisawa Inc. in 2018. With her background of working with global teams before joining Morisawa, she explores global business opportunities. Yuka was in charge of global promotions in the United States and has been working for both domestic and global products’ projects. Also, she was a local committee leader of ATypI 2019 Tokyo. ATypI is an international non-profit organization dedicated to typography and typeface design with more than 60 years of history. ATypI 2019 Tokyo was the first conference held in Japan. With these experiences in the type community, she seeks ways of creating a constructive bridge between designers and a platformer to flourish the industry together.
