Damien Chong is a multiscript type designer, graphic designer and educator. He works mostly with arts and (multi-)cultural institutions, which informs his practice with historical and cultural contexts. He is a graduate of the Master of Arts, Typeface Design program from the University of Reading, and is an adjunct lecturer at Lasalle College of the Arts.

He has spoken at Meta and Typelab Asia at Typographics, and was recently awarded a Special Mention for his typeface, Spore Tamil & Latin at the 13th GRANSHAN Type Design Competition. He is also part of the Irregular Form collective (@irregular.form)
